What you'll find up there

Up in the Vosges mountains, 25 minutes from Orbey, the Lac Blanc Bike Park is considered one of the best bike parks in France and the most complete in the Grand Est. Nine marked tracks from green to black, a Montjoie detachable chairlift carrying 4 riders and 4 bikes per chair, running continuously from mid-April to late October. Wooden features, jumps, roots and rocks. From Sunday riders to French Cup racers, everyone finds their level.

Riding tips

•Come early: tracks are quieter in the morning and the dirt grips better.
•Even if you're experienced, start with La Smooth or La Easy. It's the best way to read the mountain.
•The MTB school offers lessons, helpful to break through technical barriers safely.
•Restaurant and terrace at the resort, handy for lunch between runs.
•In wet weather, prefer La Smooth and La Cool (better drained).
•Free parking at the resort, accessed from Orbey via the Col du Calvaire (25 min).
